Over the last few weeks we have discovered artists from all over the world. Do you dare to do it with us?

 

María Blanchard

While everyone knows Pablo Picasso, few people have heard of María Blanchard. The fifth and sixth grade students have had the great pleasure of learning about her artwork and her life. Furthermore, we have created our own art treasures inspired by Blanchard. We present some of them to you.

Sonia Delaunay

Sonia Delaunay was a Ukrainian artist and designer. She was the creator of the movement Orphism, noted for its use of strong colors and geometric shapes. She was the first woman to have an exhibition at the Louvre.
We have learned a lot about her and we have created our own paintings using the collage technique.

Georgia O’Keefee

Georgia O’Keeffe was an American artist. She was among the most influential figures of Modernism, best known for her large format paintings of natural subjects, especially flowers.
The fifth and sixth grade students have created their own compositions using her ‘Red Poppy’ art piece as inspiration.
